Favorite Character-Independent Reading
Atalanta, is someone I belive i would like to hang out with. Atalanta really sees like a deeper meaning to things, and is just very outspoken. She's very intelligent, laidback, and she's one of those people that actually thinks about something before they do it. She's not very girly, she more of an athlete, and just doesn't care what other people say about her not being "proper". I honestly believe that is Atalanta was a real life character I would ask her for advise about things. She just seems like one of those people that is "wise beyond they years" and I would like to hear her concept and views on different things in life, she's just a really interesting character. I like the fact that she's really down to earth an able to admit the truth about life. "...I foolishly believed it might be enough for him if I could become the best in our kingdom".

Aphrodite's Blessings
This book has a very different twist on love, because not only is it a love novel but it is also mixed withh some Greek Mythology. For instance there's Psyche no one want to marry her but Aphrodite's got other plans for her love life. The reason this book is just so attention drawing is because Psyche litterally has to go to Hadies first to get to Heaven. It just brings a new perspective to love mythology because we actually get to see Aphrodite's point of view and Psyche's point of view. There is also Andromeda, who is beautiful just beyond compare, she falls inlove but her father doesn't exactly have that man in mind for a husband. Once again Aphrodite's got a whole other plan for this love dilemma, you just absolutely do not mess with this goddess's blessings. Then they're Atalanta, the rebel she just want to marry who she wants to marry not who her father wants her to. Aphrodite steps in once again and with a different fate for all of them.
